An Act to amend the Fair Rents Act, 1936.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1 Short Title.
1936, No. 14

This Act may be cited as the Fair Rents Amendment Act, 1941, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Fair Rents Act, 1936 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Duration of principal Act extended.

(1)

The principal Act shall continue in force until the thirty-first day of October, nineteen hundred and forty-two, and shall then expire.

Consequential repeal. 1940, No. 18

(2)

Section nine of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1940, is hereby repealed.
