An Act to apply certain Sums of Money out of the Public Account and other Accounts towards the Service of the Year ending on the Thirty-first Day of March, Nineteen hundred and forty-six.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1 Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the Imprest Supply Act (No. 2), 1945.
2 Imprest grants.
(1)
In addition to all sums otherwise granted, there may be issued and applied, by way of imprest, towards the service of the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, nineteen hundred and forty-six,—
(a)
Out of the respective accounts (being part of the Public Account) mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, any sums not exceeding in respect of any such account the appropriate amount specified in that Schedule, and not exceeding in the aggregate the sum of fifteen million five hundred and forty-two thousand five hundred pounds:
(b)
Out of the respective accounts mentioned in the Second Schedule hereto, any sums not exceeding in respect of any such account the appropriate amount specified in that Schedule, and not exceeding in the aggregate the sum of one million three hundred and twenty-three thousand pounds.
(2)
All sums issued and applied under the authority of this section shall be charged in the manner hereafter to be expressed in any Act passed in this present session of Parliament for appropriating the public revenues of the Dominion for the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, nineteen hundred and forty-six.
3 Transfers from National Development Loans Account.
(1)
In addition to all sums otherwise authorized, there may from time to time during the year ending on the thirty-first day of March, nineteen hundred and forty-six, without further authority than this section, be transferred from the National Development Loans Account to the respective accounts mentioned in the Third Schedule hereto any sums not exceeding in respect of any such account the appropriate amount specified in that Schedule, and not exceeding in the aggregate the sum of three million five hundred and seventy thousand pounds.
(2)
All sums transferred under the authority of this section shall be included in the amounts to be authorized to be transferred from the National Development Loans Account by any Appropriation Act passed in this present session of Parliament.
