An Act to amend the Civil List Act 1950.
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title.
1950, No. 99
This Act may be cited as the Civil List Amendment Act 1955, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Civil List Act 1950 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Royal Commission on salaries and allowances to be appointed after every general election.
Section twenty-seven of the principal Act is hereby amended by inserting, after subsection one, the following subsection:
“(1a)
A Royal Commission shall be appointed for the purposes of this section within three months after the date of every general election of members of Parliament.”
