An Act to amend the Public Works Act 1928
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Public Works Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Public Works Act 1928 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Offences against regulations
Section 319 of the principal Act (as amended by section 5 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1958, section 23 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1960, and section 2 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1961) is hereby further amended by repealing paragraph (d) of subsection (2), and substituting the following paragraph:
“(d)
Prescribing offences in respect of the contravention of or non-compliance with any regulations made under this section, and the amount of the fine that may be imposed in respect of any such offence, which fine shall be an amount not exceeding two hundred dollars and, where the offence is a continuing one, a further amount not exceeding ten dollars for every day or part of a day during which the offence has continued:”.
