An Act to amend the Sharebrokers Act 1908
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Sharebrokers Amendment Act 1967, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Sharebrokers Act 1908 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Licence fees increased
Section 4 of the principal Act (as amended by section 7(1) of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby amended—
(a)
By omitting from subsection (1a) (as inserted by section 2(1) of the Sharebrokers Amendment Act 1957) the words “ten dollars”
, and substituting the words “thirty dollars”
:
(b)
By omitting from subsection (3) (as added by section 52(1)(c) of the Finance Act 1930) the words “ten dollars”
, and substituting the words “thirty dollars”
:
(c)
By omitting from the proviso to subsection (3) (as so added) the words “two dollars”
, and substituting the words “ten dollars”
.
