An Act to amend the Economic Stabilisation Act 1948
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Economic Stabilisation Amendment Act 1968, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Economic Stabilisation Act 1948 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Offences
Section 18 of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding the following subsection:
“(4)
Notwithstanding anything in section 14 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957, any information for an offence against this Act may be laid at any time within three years from the time when the matter of the information arose.”
This Act is administered in the Department of Industries and Commerce.
