An Act to amend the Domestic Proceedings Act 1968
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Domestic Proceedings Amendment Act 1974, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Domestic Proceedings Act 1968 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Disobedience of maintenance order
Section 107 of the principal Act is hereby amended by omitting from subsection (7) the words “the Registrar of that Court, or the Registrar of any other Court that the Registrar of the first-mentioned Court so directs”
, and substituting the words “a Maintenance Officer at a place specified in the order, or a Maintenance Officer at any other place that a Maintenance Officer at the first-mentioned place directs”
.
