An Act to amend the Licensing Trusts Act 1949
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Licensing Trusts Amendment Act (No. 2) 1974, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Conduct of elections
(1)
Section 12(6) of the principal Act (as amended by section 7(1) of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby further amended by omitting the expression “$6”
, and substituting the expression “$10”
.
(2)
Section 12(6) of the principal Act is hereby further amended by omitting the expression “one-eighth”
, and substituting the expression “one-quarter”
.
3 Unauthorised expenditure
Section 39 of the principal Act (as amended by section 6 of the Licensing Trusts Amendment Act 1964 and by section 7(1) of the Decimal Currency Act 1964) is hereby further amended by omitting the expression “$400”
, and substituting the expression “$1,000”
.
