An Act to amend the Bush Workers Act 1945
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Bush Workers Amendment Act 1979, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Bush Workers Act 1945 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Wages and time book
Section 7 of the principal Act (as substituted by section 4 of the Bush Workers Amendment Act 1967) is hereby amended by repealing subsection (3), and substituting the following subsection:
“(3)
The wages and time book in use for the time being, and every such book used at any time within the 6 preceding years, shall at all times be open to inspection by an Inspector:
“Provided that this subsection shall not apply to any such book that ceased to be used before the 1st day of January 1978 and that was destroyed before the 1st day of January 1980.”
