An Act to amend the Primary Products Marketing Act 1953
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
1 Short Title
This Act may be cited as the Primary Products Marketing Amendment Act 1983, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Primary Products Marketing Act 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).
2 Interpretation
(1)
Section 2 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing paragraphs (d) and (e) of the definition of the term “primary product”
(as inserted by section 2 of the Primary Products Marketing Amendment Act 1982), and substituting the following paragraphs:
“(d)
Hop growing; or
“(e)
Deer farming or game deer; or
“(f)
Goats, being the hair, bristles, or fibres of all kinds grown by the goat.”
(2)
The Primary Products Marketing Amendment Act 1982 is hereby consequentially repealed.
This Act is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
