An Act to amend the Orchard Levy Act 1958

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of New Zealand as follows:

1 Short Title

This Act may be cited as the Orchard Levy Amendment Act 1987, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Orchard Levy Act 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2 Interpretation

Section 2 of the principal Act is hereby amended by repealing the definition of the term “Federation”, and substituting the following definition:

“‘Federation’ means New Zealand Fruitgrowers Federation, a company, limited by guarantee and without share capital, registered under the Companies Act 1955:”.

This Act is administered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
