PURSUANT to section 6 of the Trustee Banks Restructuring Act 1988, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

1 Title
This order may be cited as the Trustee Banks Restructuring Order 1988.
2 Appointment of date for vesting of undertaking of trustee banks in successor companies
The 1st day of September 1988 is hereby appointed as the date on which the undertaking of each trustee bank named in the first column of the Schedule to this order shall, by virtue of the Trustee Banks Restructuring Act 1988, vest in that trustee bank's successor company, being the company named in the second column of that Schedule opposite the name of that trustee bank.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
Section 6 of the Trustee Banks Restructuring Act 1988 provides that on a date appointed by the Governor-General by Order in Council, the undertaking of a trustee bank named in the order shall, by virtue of that Act, vest in that trustee bank's successor company.
This order appoints 1 September 1988 as the date on which the undertaking of each trustee bank named in the order shall vest in that trustee bank's successor company.
Issued under the authority of the Regulations Act 1936.
