This order is administered in the Department of Conservation.
PURSUANT to section 1(3) of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
1 Title
This order may be cited as the Conservation Law Reform Act Commencement Order (No 2) 1990.
2 Commencement of section 74 of Conservation Law Reform Act 1990
Section 74 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990 shall come into force on the 31st day of May 1990.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 31 May 1990, section 74 of the Conservation Law Reform Act 1990.
That section abolishes Acclimatisation Societies and repeals provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953 relating to those bodies.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
