Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which amend the Civil Aviation Charges Regulations (No 2) 1991, come into force on the 28th day after the date of their notification in the Gazette.
The amendments increase fees for a number of aviation examinations and for some flight testing.
The additional category for aircraft maintenance engineers examinations is removed because it is covered under the aircraft maintenance engineers licence examination category. An option of a recount without review, with a fee of $25, is included for all examination categories.
Issued under the authority of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989.
Date of notification in Gazette: 23 March 2006.
