Legislation (Revocations) Order 2025

Present:
Her Excellency the Governor-General in Council
This order is made under section 82 of the Legislation Act 2019—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Attorney-General after being satisfied of the matters set out in section 82(2) of that Act.

1 Title
This order is the Legislation (Revocations) Order 2025.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 28 October 2025.
3 Secondary legislation and other instruments revoked
The following secondary legislation and other instruments are revoked:

4 Revocation of this order
This order is revoked on 28 April 2026.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 28 October 2025, is made under section 82 of the Legislation Act 2019. That section enables the revocation of secondary legislation and other instruments that have ceased to have effect, or are no longer required, on the recommendation of the Attorney-General. This order revokes 15 pieces of secondary legislation and other instruments that meet either or both of those criteria.
This order is revoked on 28 April 2026.
