Civil Aviation Amendment Act 1999 Commencement Order 1999: revoked, on 5 April 2025, pursuant to section 487 of the Civil Aviation Act 2023 (2023 No 10).

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Civil Aviation Amendment Act 1999, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

1 Title

This order may be cited as the Civil Aviation Amendment Act 1999 Commencement Order 1999.

2 Commencement of Part 1 and Schedule of Civil Aviation Amendment Act 1999

Part 1 and the Schedule of the Civil Aviation Amendment Act 1999 come into force on 1 December 1999.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order brings into force, on 1 December 1999, Part 1 and the Schedule of the Civil Aviation Amendment Act 1999.

Part 1 and the Schedule of the Civil Aviation Amendment Act 1999 amend the Civil Aviation Act 1990 to enable the implementation of a number of protocols to the Warsaw Convention relating to international carriage by air.

Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2019.
