Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Catches) Amendment Notice 2013
Pursuant to section 13 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister for Primary Industries, after complying with sections 11, 12, and 13 of that Act, gives the following notice.

1 Title
This notice is the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Catches) Amendment Notice 2013.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 31 March 2013.
3 Application
This notice applies on and from the first day of the fishing year starting on 1 April 2013.
4 Principal notice
This notice amends the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Catches) Notice 1999 (the principal notice).
5 Schedule amended
In the Schedule, fourth column,—
(a) replace
“322.300”
with“354.500”
; and
(b) replace
“661.900”
with“694.700”
; and
(c) replace
“83.900”
with“64.000”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice amends the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Catches) Notice 1999. The amendments vary the total allowable catch (TAC) for spiny rock lobster for certain quota management areas as follows:
for the Gisborne quota management area (CRA 3), the TAC is increased from 322.300 to 354.500 greenweight tonnes:
for the Wellington/Hawkes Bay quota management area (CRA 4), the TAC is increased from 661.900 to 694.700 greenweight tonnes:
for the Otago quota management area (CRA 7), the TAC is reduced from 83.900 to 64.000 greenweight tonnes.
This notice comes into force on 31 March 2013 and applies on and from the first day of the fishing year starting on 1 April 2013.
