These regulations are administered by the Ministry for the Environment.
These regulations are made under sections 74 to 76 and 140 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Hazardous Substances (Health and Safety Reform Revocations) Regulations 2017.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 December 2017.
3 Revocation of these regulations
These regulations are revoked on 1 January 2018.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 December 2017, revoke, in whole or in part, various regulations made under the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996. The revoked regulations are to be replaced either by notices issued by the Environmental Protection Authority or by the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017.
These regulations revoke themselves on 1 January 2018.
