Pursuant to section 2(3) of the Land Transfer (Computer Registers and Electronic Lodgement) Amendment Act 2002, Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
1 Title
This order is the Land Transfer (Computer Registers and Electronic Lodgement) Amendment Act Commencement Order 2002.
2 Commencement of provisions of Land Transfer (Computer Registers and Electronic Lodgement) Amendment Act 2002
Sections 43, 45 to 51, 54, 56, 59, 62, 64(1), 65(2), 66, and 67 and Schedule 2 of the Land Transfer (Computer Registers and Electronic Lodgement) Amendment Act 2002 come into force on 26 August 2002.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings into force, on 26 August 2002, the balance of the Land Transfer (Computer Registers and Electronic Lodgement) Amendment Act 2002 except sections 42, 52, and 58.
The provisions brought into force relate to—
new kinds of registrable instruments (sections 43 and 45 to 51):
caveats (sections 54 and 59):
paper instruments (sections 56 and 62):
consequential repeals and the repeal of provisions relating to the licensing of landbrokers, consequential and technical amendments, and transitional provisions for licensed landbrokers (sections 64(1), 65(2), 66, and 67 and Schedule 2).
The provisions of the Land Transfer (Computer Registers and Electronic Lodgement) Amendment Act 2002 that are not brought into force by this order relate to—
the removal of easements and profits a prendre (section 42):
the early lapse of caveats against dealings (section 52):
deposit documents (section 58).
