This notice is administered in the Ministry of Fisheries.
Pursuant to sections 18 and 19 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries gives the following notice.
1 Title
-
(1) This notice is the Fisheries (Declaration of New Stocks Subject to Quota Management System) Notice (No 2) 2002 Amendment Notice 2004.
(2) In this notice, the Fisheries (Declaration of New Stocks Subject to Quota Management System) Notice (No 2) 20021 is called
“the principal notice”
.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Schedule 2 amended
-
(1) Schedule 2 of the principal notice is amended by, under the heading Quota Management Area 2A—East Coast,—
(a) omitting from paragraph (e) the expression
“39°29'E”
, and substituting the expression“39°29'S”
; and
-
(b) omitting from paragraph (f)—
(i) the expression
“39°29'E”
, and substituting the expression“39°29'S”
; and
(ii) the expression
“177°55.3'E”
, and substituting the expression“176°55.3'E”
.
(2) Schedule 2 of the principal notice is amended by, under the heading Quota Management Area 2B—Wairarapa and Wellington,—
(a) omitting from paragraph (a) the expression
“177°55.3'E”

(b) omitting from paragraph (b) the expression

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, which comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, amends the Fisheries (Declaration of New Stocks Subject to Quota Management System) Notice (No 2) 2002.
The amendments make technical corrections to latitudinal and longitudinal references in the notice.
