Pursuant to section 4 of the Penal Institutions Act 1954, the Minister of Corrections gives the following notice.

1 Title
This notice is the Penal Institutions (Fenton Street (Rotorua) Police Jail) Notice 2003.
2 Commencement
This notice takes effect from 10 July 2003.
3 Fenton Street (Rotorua) Police Jail
The land described in the Schedule is declared to be a Police jail to be known as the Fenton Street (Rotorua) Police Jail.
4 Revocation
Amendment(s) incorporated in the notice(s).

The following parcels of land in the South Auckland Land Registration District:
(a) containing 1618 square metres, more or less, being Sections 1 and 2, Block XXXI, Town of Rotorua, and being all the land declared to be taken for a Police station by notice published in the Gazette of 1964 at page 95 and registered as Gazette Notice S276938:
(b) containing 809 square metres, more or less, being Section 3, Block XXXI, Town of Rotorua, and being all the land declared to be taken for a Police station by notice published in the Gazette of 1964 at page 2233 and registered as Gazette Notice S303588:
(c) containing 2024 square metres, more or less, being Sections 8 and 9, Block XXXI, Town of Rotorua, and being all the land declared to be taken for a Police station by notice published in the Gazette of 1977 at page 1655 and registered as Gazette Notice H136320.

This notice, which takes effect from 10 July 2003, is made under the Penal Institutions Act 1954. The notice provides a legal description of the land of the existing Police jail at the Rotorua Police Station.
