Preamble
At Wellington this 28th day of August 2006
Pursuant to section 100 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
1 Title
These regulations are the Civil Aviation (Offences) Amendment Regulations 2006.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 10 October 2006.
3 Principal regulations amended
These regulations amend the Civil Aviation (Offences) Regulations 2006.
4 Schedule 2 amended
Schedule 2 is amended by—
(a)
inserting “To”
above “Full name:”
; and
(b)
omitting “Address:”
and substituting “Full address:”
; and
(c)
omitting “address”
from paragraph 9(d) of the statement of rights and substituting “full address”
.
5 Schedule 3 amended
Schedule 3 is amended by—
(a)
omitting “(who is referred to as the defendant)”
; and
(b)
omitting “of defendant”
and substituting “of person”
; and
(c)
omitting “Address:”
and substituting “Full address:”
; and
(d)
inserting “(To be provided for filing in court)”
under “Service details”
; and
(e)
omitting “: [full name], on [date]”
and substituting “[full name] on [date of service] at [full address of service]”
; and
(f)
omitting “Registered or ordinary post on: [date]”
and substituting “Postal service on [date of service] to [full address of service]”
; and
(g)
omitting “your address”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations amend the Civil Aviation (Offences) Regulations 2006. The amendments are required to reflect changes (made by the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2006) to the summary procedure for infringement offences in section 21 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957.
The regulations come into force on 10 October 2006.
