These regulations are made under section 140 of the Coroners Act 2006 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Coroners (Pathologists Fees) Amendment Regulations 2018.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 September 2018.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Coroners (Pathologists Fees) Regulations 2007 (the principal regulations).
4 Regulation 4 amended (Fee for giving expert evidence at inquest under Act)
In regulation 4(2), replace “is payable in addition to any fees payable in respect of the post-mortem under regulation 5, and is”
with “payable is”
.
5 Regulation 5 revoked (Other fees)
Revoke regulation 5.
6 Schedule revoked
Revoke the Schedule.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 September 2018, are made under the Coroners Act 2006 (Act). They revoke the regulation specifying fees payable to a pathologist for performing under the Act functions specified in the Schedule. They also revoke the Schedule.
Issued under the authority of the Legislation Act 2012.
