Preamble
At Wellington this 27th day of August 2007
Pursuant to section 297 of the Fisheries Act 1996, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Contents
1 Title
These regulations are the Fisheries (Infringement Offences) Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2007.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 1 October 2007.
3 Principal regulations amended
These regulations amend the Fisheries (Infringement Offences) Regulations 2001.
4 Schedule 1 amended

(1) Schedule 1 is amended by inserting in the table relating to the Fisheries (South-East Area Amateur Fishing) Regulations 1986, in its appropriate numerical order, the item set out in Part 1 of the Schedule of these regulations.
(2) Schedule 1 is amended by inserting in the table relating to the Fisheries (Southland and Sub-Antarctic Areas Amateur Fishing) Regulations 1991, in its appropriate numerical order, the item set out in Part 2 of the Schedule of these regulations.
(3) Schedule 1 is amended by inserting in the table that relates to the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001, in their appropriate numerical order, the items set out in Part 3 of the Schedule of these regulations.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 1 October 2007, amend the Fisheries (infringement Offences) Regulations 2001 by prescribing new infringement offences and infringement fees for the purposes of—
•the Fisheries (South-East Area Amateur Fishing) Regulations 1986:
•the Fisheries (Southland and Sub-Antarctic Areas Amateur Fishing) Regulations 1991:
•the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001.
