Pursuant to section 16 of the Acts and Regulations Publication Act 1989, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Law Practitioners Fees Regulations Revocation Order 2008.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Revocation
The Law Practitioners Fees Regulations 1978 (SR 1978/313) are revoked.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, revokes the Law Practitioners Fees Regulations 1978, which ceased to have effect on 1 April 1983.
On 1 April 1983, the Law Practitioners Act 1955 was repealed by the Law Practitioners Act 1982 and since that date admission fees, practising fees, restoration fees, and the fee payable for the issue of a practising certificate have been fixed under the latter Act by the Council of the New Zealand Law Society with the approval of the Minister of Justice.
