Pursuant to section 400 of the Immigration Act 2009, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Immigration (Certificate and Warrant Forms) Amendment Regulations 2012.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 3 September 2012.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Immigration (Certificate and Warrant Forms) Regulations 2010 (the principal regulations).
4 Schedule amended
-
(1) In the Schedule, form 3, paragraph 1, replace
“2009 and brought before me pursuant to section 316 of that Act.”
with“2009. An application for a warrant of commitment under section 316 of that Act has been made in relation to him or her.”
(2) In the Schedule, form 3, paragraph 2, replace
“detained for [number of days (no more than 28)] or, if one of the following events occurs before the expiry of the [number of days],”
with“detained until [date (no more than 28 days from date warrant signed)] or, if one of the following events occurs before that date,”
.(3) In the Schedule, form 3, paragraph 2(b), after
“delivered up to”
, insert“an immigration officer or”
.(4) In the Schedule, form 4, paragraph 1(b), replace

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 3 September 2012, adjust forms 3 and 4 of the Schedule of the Immigration (Certificate and Warrant Forms) Regulations 2010 to account for the coming into force of section 312 of the Immigration Act 2009 and to make minor technical adjustments to the forms.
