Pursuant to section 400(i) of the Immigration Act 2009, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Immigration (Certificate, Warrant, and Other Forms) Amendment Regulations 2014.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 18 April 2014.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the regulations that were previously called the Immigration (Certificate and Warrant Forms) Regulations 2010 (the principal regulations).
4 Name of principal regulations changed
After the commencement of this regulation,—
(a) the principal regulations are called the Immigration (Certificate, Warrant, and Other Forms) Regulations 2010; and
(b) a reference in another enactment or in a document to the Immigration (Certificate and Warrant Forms) Regulations 2010 must be read as a reference to the Immigration (Certificate, Warrant, and Other Forms) Regulations 2010, unless the context otherwise requires.
5 Regulation 1 amended (Title)
In regulation 1, replace
“Certificate and Warrant”
with“Certificate, Warrant, and Other”
.
6 New regulation 7 inserted (Notice of cancellation of removal order made in respect of person not in New Zealand)
After regulation 6, insert:
“7 Notice of cancellation of removal order made in respect of person not in New Zealand
A notice of cancellation of a removal order to be sent under section 58(4) of the former Act to a person who has already been removed from or has left New Zealand must be in form 6 of the Schedule.”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 18 April 2014, amend the regulations that were previously called the Immigration (Certificate and Warrant Forms) Regulations 2010 (the principal regulations). The regulations insert a new form for the purpose of cancelling removal orders issued under section 58 of the Immigration Act 1987. The regulations also change the title of the principal regulations to reflect the fact that the regulations insert a new form that does not relate to a certificate or a warrant.
