Pursuant to sections 400 to 402 of the Immigration Act 2009, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Immigration (Visa, Entry Permission, and Related Matters) Amendment Regulations 2011.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 25 July 2011.
3 Principal regulations amended
These regulations amend the Immigration (Visa, Entry Permission, and Related Matters) Regulations 2010.
4 Meaning of prescribed fee
Regulation 4A(1)(b)(x) is revoked and the following subparagraph substituted:
“(x) Solomon Islands:”.
5 Exemptions from or reductions in prescribed fees
Regulation 26AAB(3)(a) is amended by omitting
“work to residence Skilled Migrant Category”
and substituting“Skilled Migrant Category Job Search”
.
6 Schedule 1 amended
Schedule 1 is amended by inserting the item set out in the Schedule of these regulations after the item relating to the Taiwan working holiday scheme.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations amend the Immigration (Visa, Entry Permission, and Related Matters) Regulations 2010.
An error in a country's name is corrected.
The work to residence Skilled Migrant Category policy is renamed as the Skilled Migrant Category Job Search policy.
The Uruguay working holiday scheme is added as a category of temporary entry class visa for which application must be made online. An applicant must be a citizen of Uruguay.
These regulations come into force on 25 July 2011.
