Pursuant to sections 13 and 14 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister for Primary Industries, having satisfied the requirements of those sections, gives the following notice.

Notice
1 Title
This notice is the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2012.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 30 September 2012.
3 Application
This notice applies on and from 1 October 2012.
4 Interpretation
In this notice, unless the context requires another meaning,—
(a)
the quota management areas referred to by reference numbers in the Schedule are the fishery management areas that have the same reference numbers in—
(i)
Schedule 3 of the Fisheries (Declaration of New Stocks Subject to Quota Management System) Notice 2005, in the case of fishery management area 7C:
(ii)
Schedule 1 of the Fisheries Act 1996, in all other cases:
(b)
the fishstock codes referred to in the Schedule have the same meaning as in Schedule 3 of the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001.
5 Total allowable catch
The total allowable catch for each fishstock in the quota management area referred to in the second column of the Schedule is the amount stated in the fourth column of the Schedule.
6 Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2009 revoked
The Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2009 (SR 2009/270) is revoked.
7 Consequential amendment to Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2004

This clause amends the Schedule of the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2004 (Gazette 2004, p 2435).
(2)
In the item relating to porae, delete the item relating to fishstock code POR2.
8 Consequential amendments to Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice (No 2) 2004
(1)
This clause amends the Schedule of the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice (No 2) 2004 (Gazette 2004, p 2724).
(2)
Revoke the item relating to mako shark.
(3)
Revoke the item relating to porbeagle shark.
(4)
Revoke the item relating to southern bluefin tuna.
9 Consequential amendments to Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2006

This clause amends the Schedule of the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2006 (Gazette 2006, p 3297).
