Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Environmental Protection Authority Act 2011, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Environmental Protection Authority Act Commencement Order 2011.
2 Commencement of Parts 3 and 4 of Environmental Protection Authority Act 2011

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the following provisions of the Environmental Protection Authority Act 2011 (the Act) into force on 1 July 2011:
Parts 1 and 2 of the Act came into force on the day after the Act received the Royal assent.
Part 3 deals with the disestablishment of entities and the transfer of functions to the Environmental Protection Authority. Sections 44 to 49 will be brought into force with the Climate Change Response Amendment Act 2011.
Part 4 makes minor and consequential amendments. Section 53(2) will be brought into force with the Climate Change Response Amendment Act 2011.
