Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Crimes Amendment Act (No 2) 2011, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

This order is the Crimes Amendment Act (No 2) 2011 Commencement Order 2011.
2 Commencement of Crimes Amendment Act (No 2) 2011
The Crimes Amendment Act (No 2) 2011 comes into force on 13 February 2012.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings the Crimes Amendment Act (No 2) 2011 into force on 13 February 2012.
That Act substitutes some provisions of the Crimes Act 1961 relating to enforcement of fines by the High Court. The substituted provisions allow fines imposed by the High Court to be enforced under Part 3 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957, subject to specified modifications.
