Pursuant to section 2(2) of the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2011, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2011 Commencement Order 2012.
2 Commencement of specified provisions of Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2011
Sections 5, 7 to 9, and 41(1) of the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2011 come into force on 1 August 2012.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order brings specified provisions of the Summary Proceedings Amendment Act 2011 (the Act) into force on 1 August 2012.
The amendments made by these provisions relate mainly to infringement and reminder notices.
The rest of the Act is already in force.
