Pursuant to sections 13 and 14 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister for Primary Industries gives the following notice after complying with sections 11, 12, 13, and 14 of that Act.
Notice
1 Title
This notice is the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2012 Amendment Notice 2014.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 30 September 2014.
3 Application
This notice applies on and from the first day of the fishing year starting on 1 October 2014.
4 Principal notice
This notice amends the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2012 (the principal notice).
5 Schedule amended
(1)
In the Schedule, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order the item set out in Schedule 1 of this notice.
(2)
In the Schedule, replace each item relating to a fishstock code specified in the third column of Schedule 2 of this notice with the corresponding item in that Schedule 2.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice amends the Fisheries (Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2012. It comes into force on 30 September 2014, but applies on and from the first day of the fishing year starting on 1 October 2014.
The amendments set or vary the total allowable catch (TAC) for quota management stocks with certain fishstock codes, as follows:

Blue moki
for MOK3, the TAC is set at 197 greenweight tonnes:

Hoki
for HOK1, the TAC is increased from 151 540 to 161 640 greenweight tonnes:

Orange roughy
for ORH2A, the TAC is reduced from 919 to 512 greenweight tonnes:
for ORH2B, the TAC is reduced from 147 to 63 greenweight tonnes:
for ORH3A, the TAC is reduced from 436 to 186 greenweight tonnes:
for ORH3B, the TAC is increased from 4 725 to 5 250 greenweight tonnes:
for ORH7A, the TAC is increased from 525 to 1 680 greenweight tonnes:

for STN1, the TAC is increased from 830 to 1 000 greenweight tonnes.
