Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Catches) Amendment Notice 2012
Pursuant to section 13 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister for Primary Industries, after having regard to the matters specified in that section, gives the following notice.

1 Title
This notice is the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Catches) Amendment Notice 2012.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 31 March 2012.
3 Application
This notice applies on and from the fishing year commencing on 1 April 2012.
4 Principal notice
This notice amends the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Catches) Notice 1999 (the principal notice).
5 Schedule amended
In the Schedule, in the fourth column,—
(a) replace
“293.000”
with“322.300”
; and
(b) replace
“95.700”
with“83.900”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, which comes into force on 31 March 2012, amends the Fisheries (Rock Lobster Total Allowable Catches) Notice 1999. The amendments—
increase the total allowable catch for spiny rock lobster for the Gisborne quota management area (CRA 3) to 322.300 tonnes; and
decrease the total allowable catch for spiny rock lobster for the Otago quota management area (CRA 7) to 83.900 tonnes.
The changes apply on and from the fishing year commencing on 1 April 2012.
