These regulations are administered by the Ministry of Transport.
Pursuant to section 100 of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Civil Aviation (Offences) Amendment Regulations 2013.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 13 June 2013.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Civil Aviation (Offences) Regulations 2006 (the principal regulations).
4 Schedule 1 amended
Amend Schedule 1 in the manner set out in the Schedule of these regulations.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 13 June 2013, amend the Civil Aviation (Offences) Regulations 2006.
The amendments specify—
new offences and penalties in relation to Part 121 (Air Operations—Large Aeroplanes) of the Civil Aviation Rules; and
a new offence and penalty in relation to Part 172 (Air Traffic Service Organisations—Certification) of the Civil Aviation Rules.

Notes
1 General
This is a consolidation of the Civil Aviation (Offences) Amendment Regulations 2013 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
2 Legal status
A consolidation is taken to correctly state, as at its stated date, the law enacted or made by the legislation consolidated and by the amendments. This presumption applies unless the contrary is shown.
