1 Title
This notice is the Fisheries (High Seas Fishing Notifications—South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation) Notice 2013.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Notification of global, regional, or subregional fisheries organisation or arrangement
(1)
This clause gives notice of the organisation known as the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (the organisation).
(2)
The organisation is a global, regional, or subregional fisheries organisation or arrangement under Part 6A of the Fisheries Act 1996.
4 Notification of international conservation and management measures
5 Where copies available
Copies of the Convention on the Conservation and Management of High Seas Fishery Resources in the South Pacific Ocean, which established the organisation, and copies of the measures can be obtained from—
(a)
the Internet at http://www.sprfmo.int/conservation-measures/; or
(b)
the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Wellington.

1 General
This is a consolidation of the Fisheries (High Seas Fishing Notifications—South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation) Notice 2013 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
2 Legal status
