1 Title
This notice is the Fisheries (Southern Blue Whiting Total Allowable Catch) Notice 2000.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 1 April 2000.
3 Interpretation
-
In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires,—
(a) the quota management areas referred to by reference number in the Schedule are the quota management areas described in Part 3 of Schedule 1 of the Fisheries Act 1996:
(b) the fish stock codes referred to in the Schedule have the same meaning as in Schedule 3 of the Fisheries (Reporting) Regulations 2001 (SR 2001/188).
Clause 3(b): substituted, on 31 March 2003 (applying on and after 1 April 2003), by clause 4 of the Fisheries (Southern Blue Whiting Total Allowable Catch) Amendment Notice 2003 (No F244) (Gazette 2003, p 841).
4 Total allowable catches
The total allowable catch for each quota management area in respect of the species specified in the Schedule is that stated in the final column of the Schedule against the relevant quota management area.
