This order is made under section 3B of the Public Finance Act 1989 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Public Finance (Mercury NZ Limited) Order 2016.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Schedule 5 of Public Finance Act 1989 amended
(1)
In the Public Finance Act 1989, Schedule 5, after the item relating to Genesis Energy Limited, insert:
Mercury NZ Limited
(2)
In the Public Finance Act 1989, Schedule 5, repeal the item relating to Mighty River Power Limited.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on the 28th day after the date of its notification in the Gazette, amends Schedule 5 of the Public Finance Act 1989 by changing the reference to Mighty River Power Limited to Mercury NZ Limited to reflect the change in name of that company.
Date of notification in Gazette: 15 September 2016.
