These regulations are made under section 173 of the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act 2009 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Amendment Regulations 2016.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 24 March 2016.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Regulations 2009 (the principal regulations).
4 Regulation 13 amended (Costs recoverable by Official Assignee)
In regulation 13(2)(b), replace “$200”
with “$230”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations, which come into force on 24 March 2016, amend the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Regulations 2009 so as to increase from $200 to $230 the hourly rate of remuneration prescribed for the Official Assignee and any Deputy Official Assignee for the purposes of section 87(1) of the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act 2009.
