This order is made under section 45(2) of the Biosecurity Act 1993 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.

1 Title
This order is the Biosecurity (Notifiable Organisms) Amendment Order 2022.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 8 April 2022.
3 Principal order
This order amends the Biosecurity (Notifiable Organisms) Order 2016.
4 Schedule amended
In the Schedule, item relating to organisms primarily affecting horticulture, revoke the item relating to potato mop-top virus.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 8 April 2022, amends the Biosecurity (Notifiable Organisms) Order 2016.
It removes potato mop-top virus from that order’s list of notifiable organisms. The effect of this amendment is that the duty to report the presence or possible presence of potato mop–top virus under section 46 of the Biosecurity Act 1993 no longer applies.
