This order is made under section 32 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council.
Order
1 Title
This order is the Ombudsmen Act (Schedule 1—Ministry of Housing and Urban Development) Order 2018.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 1 August 2018.
3 Ombudsmen Act 1975 amended
In the Ombudsmen Act 1975, Schedule 1, Part 1, insert in its appropriate alphabetical order:

Michael Webster,
Clerk of the Executive Council.
Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order, which comes into force on 1 August 2018, amends the Ombudsmen Act 1975 (the Act).
Clause 3 inserts a reference to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development into the list of government departments in Part 1 of Schedule 1 of the Act.
The effect is that the Ombudsmen Act 1975 and the Official Information Act 1982 will apply to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
