This order is made by the Minister for COVID-19 Response under sections 11 and 15(1) of the COVID-19 Public Health Response Act 2020 in accordance with section 9 of that Act.
Order
1 Title
This order is the COVID-19 Public Health Response (COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate) Order Revocation Order 2022.
2 Commencement
This order comes into force on 17 June 2022.
3 Revocation
The COVID-19 Public Health Response (COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate) Order 2021 (SL 2021/382) is revoked.
4 Consequential amendments to other secondary legislation
Amend the secondary legislation specified in the Schedule as set out in that schedule.
5 Revocation of this order
This order is revoked at the close of 17 July 2022.
Schedule Consequential amendments to other secondary legislation
COVID-19 Public Health Response (Protection Framework) Order 2021 (SL 2021/386)
In clause 5(1), revoke the definitions of CVC, CVC compliant, CVC rules, non-CVC rules, and valid CVC.
In clause 5(1), definition of vaccination grounds, revoke paragraph (a).
Revoke clause 6.
In Part 2, replace the subpart 3 heading with:
Subpart 3—Access to premises
Revoke clauses 25 to 30 and the cross-headings above clauses 25 and 28.
In clause 31(4)(c), replace “CVC compliant”
with “vaccinated or exempt persons”
.
In clause 33(1)(c), delete “a CVC or other”
.
In clause 33A(1)(c), delete “a CVC or other”
.
Revoke clauses 43 to 46A and the cross-heading above clause 43.
Replace the cross-heading above clause 47 with:

Replace clause 98A(1) with:
(1)
A person boarding a public transport service in the area on a route that ends out of the area must carry evidence of—
(a)
a negative result from a COVID-19 test administered no more than 72 hours before their journey began; or
(b)
a certificate that verifies that the person was examined by a medical practitioner no more than 72 hours before their journey began and that the person—
(i)
was determined to have particular physical or other needs that made it inappropriate for the person to undergo a COVID-19 test; and
(ii)
did not exhibit symptoms of COVID-19.
In clause 98A(2), delete “CVC or”

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This order revokes the COVID-19 Public Health Response (COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate) Order 2021. It comes into force on 17 June 2022 and revokes itself at the close of 17 July 2022.
This order also makes consequential amendments to the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Protection Framework) Order 2021 and the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021. The consequential amendments remove redundant references to COVID-19 vaccination certificates.
Approval by resolution required
This order must be approved by resolution of the House of Representatives before the expiry of the period described in section 16(2) of the COVID-19 Public Health Response Act 2020. If this does not happen, and if the order has not already revoked itself, the order is revoked on the expiry of that period.

1 General
This is a consolidation of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate) Order Revocation Order 2022 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
2 Legal status
A consolidation is taken to correctly state, as at its stated date, the law enacted or made by the legislation consolidated and by the amendments. This presumption applies unless the contrary is shown.
