Pursuant to section 2(1) of the Land Transport Act 1998, the Minister of Police gives the following notice.
Notice
1 Title
This notice is the Land Transport (Approved Vehicle Surveillance Equipment) Notice (No 2) 2008.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
3 Approval of REDFLEXradarcam camera system
(1)
The vehicle surveillance equipment to which this clause applies is approved as a kind of vehicle surveillance equipment for the purposes of the Land Transport Act 1998.
(2)
The vehicle surveillance equipment to which this clause applies is the REDFLEXradarcam camera system—
(a)
comprising the following:
(i)
a REDFLEXradarcam NZTMR radar unit including laser sighting device; and
(ii)
a REDFLEXradarcam NZRCU compatible computer; and
(iii)
a REDFLEXradarcam NZTS compatible touch screen; and
(iv)
a REDFLEXradarcam NZTMC digital camera; and
(b)
used either with, or without, all or any of the following:
(i)
a REDFLEXradarcam NZFLM flash unit with or without a filter:
(ii)
a compatible external disc drive:
(iii)
a compatible mounting system.

1 General
This is a consolidation of the Land Transport (Approved Vehicle Surveillance Equipment) Notice (No 2) 2008 that incorporates the amendments made to the legislation so that it shows the law as at its stated date.
