Land Transport (Concentration Level of Listed Qualifying Drugs) Notice 2025
This notice is made by the Minister of Police under section 71GA of the Land Transport Act 1998 after complying with the requirements of that section.

1 Title
This notice is the Land Transport (Concentration Level of Listed Qualifying Drugs) Notice 2025.
2 Commencement
This notice comes into force on 15 December 2025.
3 Qualifying drugs for analysis of oral fluid sample
An approved analyst may analyse an oral fluid sample for the purpose of testing the sample for the presence of any of the qualifying drugs listed in the first column of the table in the Schedule.
4 Positive evidential threshold for qualifying drugs
The concentration levels at or above which an oral fluid sample will show a positive test result for the presence of the qualifying drugs listed in the first column of the table in the Schedule are specified in the second column of that table.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the notice but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice, which comes into force on 15 December 2025,—
specifies the qualifying drugs for which an oral fluid sample may be analysed by an approved analyst under the Land Transport Act 1998; and
sets out the concentration levels of those drugs at or above which an oral fluid sample will show a positive result for the drug.
