Clause 156
In clause 156(1)(b) (page 116, line 24), replace “7”
with “9”

In clause 156(4) (page 116, line 37), replace “6 or 7”
with “more than 5”
.
In clause 156(4)(a) (page 116, line 38), replace “2”
with “2 or 3”
.
Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper increases the maximum size of the Intelligence and Security Committee from 7 to 9. As clause 156 is currently drafted it does not provide for proportional representation of all political parties of a reasonable size. This amendment addresses that by increasing the maximum size of the committee.
