Clause 276
In clause 276(3)(c), after “the construction,”
(page 284, line 34), insert “operation,”

Explanatory note
This Supplementary Order Paper amends the Natural and Built Environment Bill. The Environment Committee recommended including the wording “or that connect to a local distribution network” in clause 276(3)(c)(v). However, the committee failed to include the word “operation” in the chapeau of paragraph (c), which effectively limits the exemptions to the construction, upgrading, and maintenance of renewable electricity generation, and not to the operation of those facilities.
