Proposed motion to divide Bill into 2 Bills
Hon Nathan Guy, in Committee, to move as follows:
That the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2 and Part 1 be a separate Bill, and that the enacting words, clauses 1 and 2, and the Part 1 heading be replaced with:
The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:
1 Title
This Act is the Biosecurity Amendment Act (No 2) 2015.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
That Part 2 be a separate Bill, and that the Part 2 heading be replaced with:

This Act is the Customs and Excise Amendment Act 2015.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it receives the Royal assent.
Explanatory note
The motion set out in this Supplementary Order Paper divides the Border Processing (Arrivals and Departures) Levy Bill into the following 2 Bills:
Biosecurity Amendment Bill (No 2):
Customs and Excise Amendment Bill (No 2).
