These regulations are made under section 400 of the Immigration Act 2009—
(a)
on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council; and
(b)
on the recommendation of the Minister of Immigration made under section 403A(1) of that Act.
Regulations
1 Title
These regulations are the Immigration (Visa, Entry Permission, and Related Matters) Amendment Regulations 2025 Amendment Regulations 2025.
2 Commencement
These regulations come into force on 21 November 2025.
3 Principal regulations
These regulations amend the Immigration (Visa, Entry Permission, and Related Matters) Amendment Regulations 2025.
4 Regulation 6 amended (Schedule 6 amended)
In regulation 6(2), item relating to Applicant for Business Investor work visa, replace “3,570”
with “1,060”
.

Explanatory note
This note is not part of the regulations but is intended to indicate their general effect.
These regulations amend the Immigration (Visa, Entry Permission, and Related Matters) Amendment Regulations 2025 (the principal regulations) and come into force on 21 November 2025.
Regulation 4 amends regulation 6(2) of the principal regulations to require that the levy to be paid by an applicant for a Business Investor work visa is $1,060. This corrects an error in the principal regulations. Regulation 6(2) of the principal regulations comes into force on 24 November 2025. The effect of these regulations is to correct the error in regulation 6(2) before it comes into force.
